Award-winning clown/magician, Ewerton Martins is travelling 52 countries, thrilling audiences with his decks of cards. He returns to Prague after a sell-out run in 2018, with an astonishing new show.
El Diablo is a once in a lifetime opportunity to have your mind blown by an authentic South American wizard. The show invites audiences to shout out requests, handle the deck themselves and get up close and personal with the magician. “My artistic challenge is to travel 52 countries, thrilling audiences around the world, with a Show that I'm bringing in my pocket,” says Creator and performer Ewerton Martins.
Ewerton is a self-taught magician, who has developed a unique card magic style, combining improvisation, a clown’s foolishness and amazing magic skills. He is an internationally award-winning performer who is originally from Brazil, winning the Swindon Fringe Best Performer Award and the Best Solo Performance Award at Hamilton Fringe. Ewerton studied acting in France at École Philippe Gaulier and also attended the Nouveau Clown Institute in Spain. The first time that I performed "El Diablo Of The Cars" was in a Bar at Country Bask in 2013. But just in 2016 I started to Travel performing "El Diablo of The Cards" in Festivals around the world!
Ewerton created this show to free people from negativity in the world.
“In a world where the search for perfection has imprisoned people with bad feelings, El Diablo of The Cards shows us that it is possible to find freedom, beauty and pleasure in the simplicity and in our own human imperfection!” he said.
